Associate Professor of the Conflictology Department of Saint-Petersburg State University (SPbGU), Head of Mediation and Conflict Counselling Service (Mediation clinic) in SPbGU. Graduated from Leningrad State University (now Saint-Petersburg State University) in 1974, post-graduate education in SPbGU, PhD in psychology, 1980. Trained in mediation and began to work as a mediator and trainer in 1992, gained international (Russian-American) certificate in mediation in 1995. Trained in different styles of psychotherapy from 1987 to 2013 (more than 1000 hours). Cooperated with ABA CEELY (American Bar Association) since 1993. Certified as family systemic mediator (240 hours), labour disputes mediator (74 hours), international arbitrage and mediation (24 hours), multi-party mediation (73 hours), commercial mediator (100 hours).
Conducted about 300 mediations since 1992 and more than 1500 consultations in conflict situations. Worked as a mediator with enterprises auctioning conflicts in 1990s, resolved conflicts between management and collectives and other labour and business issues, mediated many interpersonal, inheritance division, family and divorce conflicts, in cooperation with child custody municipal services. Working as a mediator in Saint-Petersburg courts since 2008. Conducted more than 300 trainings over 22 years, on mediation basics and different specific mediation issues.

From 3000 to 5000 rubles per hour (60-100 euro), in commercial cases plus some bonus agreed with the parties in case of getting agreement. I do a lot of voluntary mediations with socially unprotected clients and in a Mediation clinic.

Worked as a mediation co-trainer with american colleagues since 1992, since 1993 worked as mediation trainer independently, developed many programs on different mediation technology issues. Teaching specialists getting additional education in mediation sphere (mainly lawyers, notaries, managers, psychologists, businessmen, HR and other specialists). As a university professor, teaching courses (for bachelors and masters) on negotiation basics of mediation, communicative skills, facilitation (moderation) in conflict, mediation styles, conflict counselling skills etc. Conducted more than 300 long (30-120 hours) trainings on mediation basics, different mediation styles, mediation in different spheres etc. and a lot of brief (4-10 hours) trainings on special aspects of mediation (work with difficult clients, work with resistance, clarifying interests, gender issues in mediation, work with emotions, counteracting aggression, counteracting manipulations, attracting clients, using narrative and other mediation styles techniques in framework of facilitative mediation, specific skills of family, business and other spheres mediators, mediator's stress and burning out protection etc.). Regularly do supervision with colleagues meeting difficult cases, teach students and specialists in mediation clinic. Supervise students, masters and post-graduates scientific research works on mediation.
Wrote more than 80 articles and books (11books of a single authorship, 11 books as a co-author) on mediation and mediation related issues. In Russian Federation according to the law there is no professional insurance for lawyers, mediators etc. I just have personal insurance not connected with my work. In case of work in international cases we may discuss the possibilities to get professional indemnity insurance outside of Russia.
