Certain top professional, provider and training organizations have developed programs to qualify mediators as IMI Certified. Those programs meet the IMI Criteria and have been approved by the Independent Standards Commission. Please see their details listed below.

IFCM, Institut Français de Certification des Médiateurs, was created as a non-profit organization with the sole purpose being to grant complying mediators a certification. IFCM has been created at the initiative of the Académie de la Médiation, a think-tank dedicated to developing and promoting mediation in French speaking countries.

The Maryland Council for Dispute Resolution (MCDR) is a vibrant 501(c)(3) organization, which has been in operation for more than two decades.
