Feedback Digest
Reviewer: Judith Meyer ( judith@judithmeyer.com )Latest Update: 1 Aug 2009 21:07
Four mediation participants reflected on Ruth Glick’s skills in mediation.
Her feedback comes from trial counsel in business and employment disputes. She is viewed as a very efficient and effective mediator, knowledgeable of case-specific facts and the applicable law. Ms. Glick has a “calm and cordial demeanor” and “relates personally to litigants.” She has the ability to put everyone at ease and couples that with “sharp insights that help a party assess the strengths and weaknesses of its case.”
She has a “keen understanding of both the substantive and procedural issues unique to employment litigation,” coupled with a keen intellect which makes her able to sort out the “compelling” arguments from the “posturing “ ones. Ms. Glick has the ability “to keenly and astutely size up the actual objectives of the parties at mediation in order to get the parties to become more realistic regarding the strengths and weakness of their case.” She is also “tenacious” about pursing settlement and helping the parties focus on their ultimate goals.
Counsel who have worked with Ms. Glick, enthusiastically recommend her to their colleagues, who report that they are also well-pleased with Ms. Glick’s work.
