IMI 2026 Annual Board Meeting

IMI’s Board of Directors meets on a quarterly basis. IMI’s Annual Board Meetings are held in a hybrid format. This year, the Board will be convening in Singapore on 28 August, 2026, during the Singapore Convention Week 2026 (SCW).  

This SCW will be held in the period 24-30 August 2026 and will have a rich program featuring over 60 partner events, including three events organised by the International Mediation Institute. The week brings together legal practitioners, arbitrators, mediators, corporate counsels, business professionals, academics, and government officials from more than 100 countries. Participants attended both in-person in Singapore and virtually, sharing insights and perspectives on the evolving landscape of global dispute resolution. This SCW will be special as the UNCITRAL Academy Conference and Workshops​ will again be held, organised to mark the 60th anniversary of UNCITRAL. It will be all the more significant as the IMI Board will be brainstorming and developing the foundation’s plans to mark IMI’s 20th anniversary in October 2027 in Rome, Italy. 

IMI will be represented by Board Chair, Tat Lim, Board Vice-Chair Leonardo D’Urso, Treasurer Matthew York, Board Members James Mangerere and Ralf Lindbäck, Executive Director Ivana Ninčić Österle, and Head of Appraisal and Program Quality Liliana Amione. 

We look forward to meaningful exchanges and memorable moments together in Singapore, as we develop the next chapter of IMI.
