I am founder and managing director of Consensus Gmbh. A company that offers mediation and mediation training. The company is based in Stuttgart, Hamburg, Berlin and Munich.

I have many years of mediation experience. As managing director of a mediation company, I work together with my team on major long-term conflict clarifications as well as on individual, short-term cases. My focus is on team conflicts in business, negotiation processes of organisations, inheritance mediation, company transfers and intercultural and international conflicts. Due to my research on emotions in mediations and negotiations I am an expert in the field of highly escalated conflicts.
My mediation style differs by context. I have done research on emotions in conflicts and negotiations and think, that the level of emotions plays a significant role in all conflicts. Only if a mutual understanding for the interests of the others can be re-established, it is possible to pacify conflicts sustainably. I am an active mediator and work with different communication methods. As a mediator, knowledge of the facilitative process is as important to me as psychological knowledge of how to conduct a conversation. It is essential to me that the parties to the conflict discover something about their way of conflict resolution in mediation, that they can also use it in the following conflicts to clarify themselves (transformative approach).

I have a Master of Mediation from the Faculty of Law at the Fernuniversität Hagen. The total number of hours of this training is 1800 hours.
Consensus offers mediation training to become a certified mediator at various locations in German and English. I am part of the trainer team and mentor for several mediators worldwide.
