She is widely viewed as a positive force in assisting settlement and conveys an impressive capacity for persistence and tenacity in difficult circumstances. Several lawyers have remarked upon how valuable they have found this approach with typical observations such as "more pro-active than some" and "showed great tenacity in assisting resolution." Process Management: The predominant theme is that Jennie is very confident with the process which enables her to adjust and design it according to need and to see opportunities for contribution. Newcomers to mediation have been impressed with her management and those who have mediated before have remarked on the fairness and efficiency of her particular approach. Mediator Skills: Implied throughout the feedback is a level of trust in her skills and expertise which allows Jennie to stick with issues without disengaging the parties. This together with her personal commitment and inventiveness has encouraged people to keep going even "when it looked like a deal would not be done." Equally there is a theme of "rebuilding" which allows parties to continue working together following settlement. There is a strong sense that Jennie has a great capacity for pulling together just the right mix of skills and process management leaving parties and their advisers feeling there was more if needed.
