Being a lawyer happened as a result of boredom and experimentation, but I’m glad I took the step. I found my true passion in the midst of all those confusing case laws and endless bare acts. I have always wanted to work to bring people together, work with differences and complications, and I found I could do that in mediation. Putting together my educational backgrounds in psychology and law, I am now committed to repair communication channels, restore relationships and resolve disputes.
I am the cofounder and partner at The Peacekeeping and Conflict Resolution Team (PACT). Over the last 30 months, I have travelled across the length and breadth of India, acquainting over 4,500 law students in the basic concepts of Negotiation and Mediation, encouraging them to explore an alternate career path as a Mediation Advocate. Work is documented here - www.thepact.in
I also work as a private mediator in Goa, Mumbai and New Delhi and help individuals and organisations build negotiation strategies in simple and complex conflicting situations.
I have been working as a mediator and mediation advocate since June 2016 and my areas of focus are community disputes, workplace disputes and family disputes - property and relationships.
