Angela is Head of Marketing & Communications at UFI, the Global Association for the Exhibition Industry, where she is responsible for all online and offline communication providing its 680 members and the general exhibition industry with insights on industry-related developments.
Before joining UFI, Angela was Project Manager at the ICC International Centre for ADR and responsible for the organization of all mediation events initiated by the Centre, including the annual ICC International Commercial Mediation Competition (2011 – 2014).
Angela is a certified and passionate mediator; she is the co-founder of the Young Mediators Initiative (YMI) and teaches international negotiation at university level in Germany.
Angela completed her studies in Australia, Germany, France and Sweden, holds an MA degree in European Cultural Studies, obtained the German State Exam for bilingual teaching and graduated with a bachelor degree in Exhibition and Event Management.
Emma Ewart is Operations Manager of IMI.
Emma came to IMI having been Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive and Commercial Director, and General Office Manager of Resolex, a London based dispute resolution institution. Prior to Resolex, Emma was the Personal Assistant to London based Barrister Andrew Burr, at the time Chairman of the European Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and Editor of the Construction Law Journal.
Emma is based in New Zealand.
Daphné d'Hennezel is a French mediator and a former member of the ICC International Centre for ADR. She worked with the Centre as Deputy Manager for two years where she was responsible for the administration of the ICC Mediation, Expertise, DOCDEX and Dispute Board cases. She was responsible for the organization of the 7th ICC International Mediation Conference entitle: “Dispute Resolution Processes: Mix and Match for the Best Results”. She also assisted with the organization of the 10th and 11th ICC Mediation Competition. Before joining ICC, Daphné worked as an in-house counsel in the French subsidiary of the largest banking group of Lebanon.
Daphné is an external lecturer in mediation at ESSEC Business School, Université Paris XIII and IFOMENE. Daphné is a fully trained Mediator (IFOMENE and Reslovers under the direction of Mr. Thierry Garby) and also holds a Master Degree in International Business Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Montpellier and a Diploma in Common Law from the University College Cork (lreland).
