Mediation policy and mediation innovation serves a vital role supporting international trade and trade centers. The first panel will discuss several international frameworks in place on a regional level and how mediation is connecting a bridge to support economic cooperation around the globe. Join us for a robust discussion on the mediation framework supporting national, regional and transnational international trade.

In the second session, esteemed experts in mediation will explore the latest trends and strategies shaping the landscape of international commercial dispute resolution. These include new business models, Mixed Modes, ESG and new technologies. Whether you are a seasoned legal professional or a mediation enthusiast, this session promises to deepen your understanding of the field and provide practical takeaways for navigating the complexities of cross-border disputes.

The 19th ICC International Commercial Mediation Competition is taking place from 5-10 February 2024 in Paris, France. The Competition is the International Chamber of Commerce’s largest educational event of the year and a unique networking opportunity. The ICC Mediation Week not only enables university students to practise and excel in negotiation and mediation advocacy while engaging in mock mediations, it is also a unique opportunity for experienced mediators to act as mediators, as well as for mediators young in experience to volunteer as “Mediation Session Supervisors”.

The Competition is proudly supported by the International Mediation Institute and the Young Mediators’ Initiative.

We hope to see you in Paris and online!
