🔄 Update – June 2025: Reopening of IMI’s appraisal process for Qualifying Assessment Programs (QAPs), Mediation Advocacy QAPs (MA-QAP), and Intercultural Competency QAPs (IC-QAPs).
While the application process for training programs remains temporarily closed, the QAP/MAQAP/ICQAP application process has now reopened. For more details, please see our recent news item: IMI is accepting new QAP applications from 30 May 2025.
Due to a significant backlog and the ongoing re-evaluation of the CMTP criteria, CMTP applications will remain closed until October 2025, or possibly the end of the year. If your organization is interested in applying for CMTP status, you are welcome to submit an Expression of Interest in the IMI Appraisal Process. This will assist us in planning resources and allow us to keep you informed of any further developments.

The International Mediation Institute (IMI) announces the temporary closure of the application process for organizations submitting their training and assessment programs.
This closure will take effect from December 15, 2024, to October 15, 2025. We encourage interested organizations to submit their applications before the deadline to ensure consideration for appraisal and endorsement.
