About ODR Latinoamérica
ODR Latinoamérica is the pioneering social network for Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) in Ibero-America. Founded in 2008, it operates under the laws of Argentina. One of its key innovations is Negotiator One, an AI-powered mediation and negotiation assistant currently used in both training and professional practice to enhance mediator effectiveness in digital settings.
ODR Latinoamérica also coordinates a landmark comparative research project on traditional and AI-assisted mediation, led by the Conflict Institute of the Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero (UNTREF) and directed by Alberto Elisavetsky, CEO of ODR Latinoamérica. The study involves 18 academic and professional institutions from across Ibero-America—including Argentina, Mexico, Uruguay, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, and Spain—using the simulation agent Negotiator One. The results will be shared with institutions throughout the region to promote best practices and foster innovation.
Its CEO, Alberto Elisavetsky, is a member of IMI’s Online Dispute Resolution Task Force and also serves on the IMI Independent Standards Commission.

IMI Certified Mediator Training Programs, or CMTPs, meet international competency criteria for mediation training excellence. Individuals who complete CMTPs are able to become recognised as ‘IMI Qualified Mediators’. CMTPs can be searched here.
As of June 2021, IMI decided to recognize training delivered in part or entirely online as meeting the standards required of IMI CMTPs. Therefore, the Training Criteria now applies equally to programs that deliver training in-person, in hybrid formats, and online. View IMI’s training criteria.
The minimum standards for training that IMI has set has been accepted by the European Commission for Efficiency of Justice – “CEPEJ“ as the minimum European standard (and indirectly by the EU which accepts and looks onto Council of Europe standards – please see https://www.coe.int/en/web/portal/european-union and the Memorandum of Understanding between the Council of Europe and the European Union). As such, IMI is the only organisation in the world whose standards have been adopted by an intergovernmental standard-setting organisation.
