The International Mediation Institute’s network encompasses over 75 implementing organizations, delivering 92 IMI recognized programs across the world. IMI’s Qualifying Assessment Programs (QAPs) are essential to maintaining and improving mediation quality assurance worldwide.
As our network continues to grow, maintaining consistency and quality across IMI’s international credentialing framework is paramount. To this end, IMI conducts a rigorous audit process that regularly reappraises all recognized programs—including QAPs, Mediation Advocacy QAPs (MAQAPs), Intercultural Competency QAPs (ICQAPs), and Online Dispute Resolution QAPs (ODRQAPs).
The audit process is essential to maintaining excellence and consistency across IMI’s network, while providing transparent and reliable information to those seeking high-quality mediation training and assessment worldwide. To uphold these standards, all IMI-recognized programs are required to undergo this audit every two years. Failure to participate or meet the audit criteria will result in loss of program status, removal from the IMI website, and loss of authorization for delisted organizations to use the IMI official logos or any related promotional materials.
The following QAPs have been delisted from the IMI website and are no longer authorized to represent themselves as IMI implementing organizations – Qualifying Assessment Programs*:

Delisted programs may no longer submit new applicants for IMI Certified status. However, individuals already certified through these programs will retain their IMI Certified Mediator or Mediation Advocate status. Learn more about becoming IMI Certified here.
Organizations wishing to regain QAP recognition may submit a new application no sooner than six months after the delisting date. Standard appraisal processes and fees will apply.
