IMI Certified Mediator Training Program (IMI CMTP) approved August 2020
Successfully re-approved in February 2025.
Training is delivered in person, online, or a mix of both in the United Kingdom and United States of America. The Program is offered in English.
Retrospective recognition is in place from 1 August 2019.
Certified Mediator Training Programs (CMTPs), deliver high-quality mediator training that meets the international standards established by the International Mediation Institute and recognized by intergovernmental standard-setting bodies, such as the CEPEJ. These standards are independent measures of quality and are created in consultation with stakeholders and practitioners around the world, under the guidance of IMI Task Forces.
