I was one of the many whose paths have been shaped by Michael’s generosity. When I was doing my PhD in mediation and had reached an impasse with my research, a mutual friend suggested that I contact Michael. Michael responded immediately and was enthusiastic and generous with his many suggestions of ways to try to get the data. He remained interested in my work and, when my PHD was published as a book, it was a great honour that Michael was one of the speakers at my book launch. Thank you Michael was for your kindness, generosity and infectious passion for mediation. My deepest condolences to Michael’s family.
