I have been very sorry to read of Michael’s passing. Michael was a unique individual and I, like so many others, have so much to thank him for. He supported me in exceptional ways in my early days as a mediator and in my work trying to promote mediation here in Scotland. He was always generous and kind. He was a pioneer of course and his influence was global. There are not many people of whom it can be said: he made a really big difference to so many people on a world-wide scale. And in such a positive way. I shall treasure the memories of the times we spent together.
