I was deeply saddened to hear that Michael is no longer with us. My memories of him go back to the days when he was a client at some of the multi-national corporations he spent time with – I had the good fortune of working closely with him on a number of challenging cases, particularly in South East Asia. He stood out above all for his creativity, optimism and thoughtfulness in all of the situations we dealt with. He was also a great pleasure to spend time with socially – always interested in the people he met, and always interesting on a wide range of subjects. I feel fortunate to have known him, he’ll be greatly missed.
