The Boards of Appeal of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), in collaboration with the EUIPO’s Academy, is hosting the much-anticipated fourth edition of the International IP Mediation Conference on the 19th and 20th of October 2023. This enlightening event will take place at the EUIPO’s headquarters in the picturesque city of Alicante, Spain, as well as online.

The IP Mediation Conference is a renowned platform that unites stakeholders committed to mediation and other alternative dispute resolution (ADR) mechanisms from all corners of the globe. Distinguished participants include representatives from IP offices, EU institutions, policy makers, lawyers, in-house counsels, IP practitioners, judges, leading mediation institutions, international industry sectors, small business owners, international IP users, and ADR training providers, and academia. Together, the intention is to explore the pragmatic and practical aspects of mediation as a powerful incentive for businesses and their legal counsels.
The conference program has been thoughtfully designed to foster engaging discussions, meaningful interactions, and valuable networking opportunities. The experts and practitioners will address four key aspects of mediation and other ADR mechanisms within the IP field, highlighting their critical role in resolving disputes efficiently and effectively.
