The International Mediation Institute (IMI) and Young Mediators’ Initiative (YMI) are delighted to be supporting organisations for the 4th edition of the ICM Program and National Commercial Mediation Competition 2024 organized by the Moot Court Bench, Sri Lanka.
The Moot Court Bench (MCB) Sri Lanka is an organization dedicated to delivering world-class education to international law students in the fields of International Commercial Arbitration, Mediation, Negotiation, and International Trade Law. With a track record of successfully educating over 300 students, the MCB has significantly contributed to the growth trajectory of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) on both regional and international scales.Â
The first and only of its kind in Sri Lanka, the International Commercial Mediation (ICM) Program, is the MCB’s flagship mediation initiative comprises a comprehensive month-long training program conducted by international experts in the field of ADR that concludes with the MCB ICM National Mediation Competition. This competition has become a platform for students and professionals to showcase their skills in mediation, negotiation, and advocacy first on the local scale and then on an global scale at prestigious international competitions, thereby fostering the growth of the next generation of young professionals in the field of dispute resolution.
Now in its fourth edition, the MCB extends an invitation to legal professionals, experienced mediators, and experts in the field of commercial mediation to join the panel of Expert Assessors for the 2024 edition of the MCB National Commercial Mediation Competition!
