Since 1996 Linda Reijerkerk is an MfN and IMI accredited mediator, facilitator and coach. Since 2006 Linda Reijerkerk is CEO of CvC, the Centre for Conflict Resolution and Mediation www.cvc.nl, a top-3 Dutch company specialised in training on mediation, Mutual Gains Approach and Harvard negotiation.
Mrs. Reijerkerk is a professional coach and mediator for business disputes, including conflicts in the board room, as well as for public law disputes (environmental, multiparty mediation) and criminal law cases. She has specialized in multiparty and intercultural conflictresolution, multi stakeholder processes, consensus building and dialogue and interactive policy formulation, etc.. She is one of the few experts on mediation in water and climate change related conflicts. She has been working in more than 80 different countries on all continents in programmes on climate, water and energy for the Dutch Development Agency, the World Bank, Islamic Development Bank, EBRD, African Development Bank,KFW, UN, etc. She speaks English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Dutch. She is co-author of more than 12 publications, amongst others: Models for Mediation, Water, a Way of Life, Sustainable Water Management in a Cultural Context, Groepsmediation, the ins and outs on multiparty mediation, etc. In 2023 she has been awarded the Dutch Mediation Award.
The mediation style of Linda Reijerkerk is mainly facilitative, with a flavor of a transformative style. She knows to create a balanced process even when more than 10 persons join the mediation table. She encourages participants and motivates them to clarify their conflict issues and looking for options which go beyond the obvious and towards a win-win. As a result, participants are motivated to bring the conflict to an agreement.
Practice areas are: business disputes (shareholders/ board room/ B2B) labour disputes (including teams) public law disputes, such as conflicts regarding wind farming, waste disposal, etc. Her specialty is complex multiparty mediations from 4 people to groups of 30 people or more (for instance in conflicts on wind farming, water issues, nature conservation, etc.)
