Presently I am a Director of an interior design and build firm together with my wife as a partner, we have being in the business since December 2004 after I part company with Natural Rubber Trading firms after 15 years in the trade. To keep myself abreast, I took and passed Specialist Diploma in Building Cost Management, a Quantity Surveyor related course conducted by Building Control Authority (BCA) Academy, a government related institution in 2015.
I started working after the two year compulsory national service (NS) in Singapore in 1975 and entered workforce and over the 10 years as a Technical Storeman/ Supervisor/Manager. Stepped into trading commodities in early 1985 and thereafter into trading Natural Rubber with several firms but longest(12 years) was with a Vienna bank subsidiary till 2005. Thereafter joined my wife in our own firm Spacevox Design Pte Ltd in the interior design and build environment and still on going
I have mediation session with Singapore State Courts in the Small Claim Tribunal (SCT) since September 2013 after I have passed my accreditation with Singapore Mediation Centre (SMC) early 2013 and I am on a second term of three year period which ends on January 2022. Since July 2013 I have also coached potential mediators when they attend courses conducted by SMC. I am also a coach with Singapore International Dispute Resolution Academy (SIDRA) normally held at Singapore Management University (SMU). I have also volunteered my mediation service with Consumer Association of Singapore (CASE) since 2017. I have also co-mediate several mediation sessions at SMC since 2016.

In the Singapore State Court, the compliant process will be through the Court's registration. At Singapore Mediation Centre (SMC), the process is by standard submission form before mediation. Similarly, at Consumer Association of Singapore (CASE), the registration process for compliant is in place. As for IMI, the compliant process will be the disputants writing in to me, as their Mediator, to file their case before mediation takes place.
