In reflecting on Michael’s passing, I find myself remembering the moments shared with him. There was that memorable boat tour in Singapore with Jeremy and Francois, where we admired the beauty of the bay while discussing how wonderful it all was. It was a simple yet profound experience that stands out. Another memorable moment was during the formation of SIMI, when Michael and I discussed how to integrate Portuguese-speaking countries within ICFML. The goal was to leverage the experience and knowledge from more developed mediation countries, and Michael highlighted the importance of this integration with his invaluable insights. Additionally, when revising the 7 Keys to Unlock Mediation, Michael had a remarkable way of reformulating a phrase perfectly while I was still searching for the right words. His skill and patience were always evident. Thank you, Michael, for the impact you had on those who had the privilege to know you.
