The International Mediation Institute (IMI) is delighted to invite you to a webinar focusing on the IMI Draft Code of Conduct for Mediators.
As IMI enters its Second Round of Public Consultations on the Draft Code of Conduct, we are seeking the diverse expertise of mediators and professionals from around the globe. We believe this collaboration is essential: your unique perspective ensures the final Code remains balanced, relevant, and effective across all cultures and mediation contexts.
During this session, IMI Executive Director Ivana Ninčić Österle, Board Chair Tat Lim, and Ethics Committee Chair Omer Shapira will:
- Introduce the vital work of the IMI Ethics Committee.
- Provide an overview of the Draft Code and its key sections.
- Present the process and substance of the public consultation to help you share your feedback effectively.
This is a crucial time for refining the IMI Draft Code of Conduct. I’m particularly interested in how the Second Round of Public Consultations will address the evolving ethical challenges arising from cross-border mediations. Are there specific sections anticipating new digital communication standards?
