Singapore Mediation Centre (SMC)

IMI QAP approved April 2020; re-approved November 2023.

Training is delivered in person in English, in Singapore.

Qualifying Assessment Programs (QAPs), assess highly-experienced mediators for the purposes of IMI Mediator Certification - the international gold standard for mediator certification. 

IMI CMTP approved December 2019; re-approved June 2025.

Online training delivery recognised March 2022.

Training is delivered in person in Singapore and online in the following languages: English, Chinese, Malay, Thai, and any other ASEAN language.

Certified Mediator Training Programs (CMTPs), deliver high-quality mediator training that meets the international standards established by the International Mediation Institute and recognized by intergovernmental standard-setting bodies, such as the CEPEJ. These standards are independent measures of quality and are created in consultation with stakeholders and practitioners around the world, under the guidance of IMI Task Forces.

IMI MAQAP approved August 2025.

Training is delivered in person in Singapore, China, Fiji, India, Pakistan, and the ASEAN region, primarily in English with supplementary translations into local languages to ensure effective communication.

Mediation Advocacy Qualifying Assessment Programs (MAQAPs) assess experienced mediation advocates for the purposes of IMI Mediation Advocacy Certification.

SMC is also recognised by our partners, the Singapore International Mediation Institute.
