The IMI Board of Directors has unanimously agreed on the nomination of George Lim SC as Honorary Director, thanking him for his service and leadership.
Kim Taylor, outgoing IMI Co-chair:
“IMI would not be where it is without George’s leadership.”
George is IMI’s longest-serving director, serving on the board for over ten years. There is no doubt that George has made outstanding contributions to IMI and the development of mediation internationally and has, additionally, been a great support to the new IMI team, over the course of the last year.
“In Singapore we believe in leadership renewal; I learned a lot and hopefully contributed; SMC kindly proposed Tat Lim to take my place. Tat is an accomplished mediator.”
George Lim, IMI Honorary Director
George has always been the Board mediator wielding his mediation skills to collaborative Board actions and future focused ideas. He drove IMI efforts supporting the Singapore Convention, one of the future focused ideas that is now a reality. We know that George will continue to wield his skills as a Honorary Director.
