We would like to remind all organisations which have not settled their 2023 annual listing fee for their Certified Mediator Training Program (CMTP) that the annual listing fee, which was introduced as compulsory in 2023, must be paid in order to maintain your program’s status and visibility on the IMI platform.
Please see the policy announcement from 22 August 2023.
Please be aware that if the outstanding fee for the previous year is not paid by 31 December 2024, your program will be removed from the IMI CMTP directory and the “Find a Program” page on the IMI website. Furthermore, your program will no longer be permitted to use the IMI CMTP logo, as it will no longer be recognized by IMI.
In line with IMI’s commitment to inclusivity, fee reductions are available for CMTPs from countries eligible under IMI’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policy.
The new fee structure, based on the World Bank Group’s income classifications and the United Nations’ Human Development Index, is as follows:
- Regular Fee: €695 (for high-income countries with Very High Human Development)
- 25% Discounted Fee: €521.25 (for upper-middle-income countries with High Human Development)
- 50% Discounted Fee: €347.50 (for lower-middle-income and low-income countries with Medium and Low Human Development)

Dear Liliana,
I am an IMI Certified Mediator, having successfully completed the CEDR International Accreditation Programme.
However, my name does not come up when the IMI database for mediators is searched, externally?
I know you require CMTPs pay an annual subscription fee to IMI. Is it also the case that IMI Certified Mediators need to pay a listing fee or similar, to appear on external searches of the IMI directory of mediators?
Dear Eve,
Yes, if you have successfully completed CEDR’s QAP program CEDR should submit you as an IMI Certified Mediator, and you will receive instructions on the listing fee payment and having a complete feedback digest. We can follow up with further information via email.
Warmly,
Ivana
Thank you Ivana for sending this message. This is an important clarification for mediators.
