The International Mediation Institute (IMI) is delighted to support the IX International Forum “Mediation & Law”, led by the Ukrainian Academy of Mediation, an IMI CMTP

The International Forum “Mediation & Law” is the largest specialised event in Ukraine dedicated to developing mediation and other alternative dispute resolution methods. The purpose of the Forum is to promote mediation as an effective conflict resolution tool, enhance the quality of mediation services, exchange best practices, and create opportunities for interaction and cooperation. This event aims to highlight innovative approaches to alternative dispute resolution, explore prospects for their development, and discuss current trends.
As part of the IX International Forum “Mediation and Law,” participants will have the opportunity to join panel discussions, workshops, and other events dedicated to relevant topics.
IMI will be leading a workshop on “International Mediation Institute Intercultural Competences: Applying IMI’s Criteria in Practice” featuring prominent speakers Tat Lim, Jeremy Lack, and Hannah Tümpel, on June 25 at 15:30-16:45 EEST (Kyiv, GMT+3).

- Tat Lim, Chair of the IMI Board of Directors and IMI Certified Mediator and Mediation Advocate, is a renowned international mediation practitioner and a WWL Global Elite Thought Leader since 2022, based in Singapore.
- Jeremy Lack is an IMI Certified Mediator and Mediation Advocate, Member of IMI’s IAC and Intercultural Competences Taskforce. He is a Swiss, US and UK lawyer specialising in international IP disputes and Appropriate Dispute Resolution (ADR), based in Switzerland.
- Hannah Tümpel, Member of IMI’s Intercultural Competences Taskforce and accredited mediator, lawyer, trainer based in Germany. She previously held leading positions with the International Chamber of Commerce, United World Colleges & UNESCO. She is the drafter of ICC Mediation Rules.
