This Feedback Digest is based on over 10 feedbacks from experienced counsel regarding numerous mediations handled since joining JAMS in 2019. Hiro Aragaki has arbitrated and mediated hundreds of disputes since 2001. Mr. Aragaki is a highly skilled and effective mediator who has received exceptional feedback from clients. Mr. Aragaki is praised for his professionalism, intellect, and demeanor, as well as his ability to go above and beyond to settle complicated matters. He is described as being respectful of the parties' positions, attentive, knowledgeable about the law and details, and very persuasive without being overbearing. Mr. Aragaki's timing and instincts were also noted as being “perfect.” Additionally, clients were impressed by Mr. Aragaki's willingness to communicate with both sides before the mediation on his own time and at length to better understand the case, facts, and issues. In one case, Mr. Aragaki continued to talk to both sides on his own time for many weeks and sometimes months after the mediation to help reach a settlement.
