This Feedback Digest is based on 23 feedbacks in 23 mediations since November of 2005. Mr. Lobo is an experienced mediator who also has been a promoter of the dispute resolution field in Mexico since 1998, time when no mediation programs existed in the country. He has worked in important projects to develop mediation programs in at least ten states in Mexico, particularly in the Proyecto para la Mediacion en Mexico (Mediation Project for Mexico) funded by the American Bar Association’s Council on Latin American Legal Initiatives and USAID, were he worked as a consultant. Most of the parties who had been through mediation with Mr. Lobo, according to the 23 feedbacks that the mediator had brought to Nuevo Leon's court anexed mediation program, express that the mediation service is well administrated, which means that the mediator does an excellent job by setting up the ground for the process; explains to the parties what mediation is and what is not; maintains his impartiality on through the whole sessions that take place; treats the parties equally, with respect, patience and consideration for their needs; develops remarkable skills to overcome impasse situations; and leads the parties, when their up to, to agreements without any influence of his own views of the conflict, helping them to choose from a wide variety of options related to possible solutions. Rafael Lobo has a very respectable experience attending business, civil, family, environmental and community cases. To assure his clients a very high degree in the quality in mediation services, Mr. Lobo has satisfied all the Nuevo Leon State’s Court rules and has the first registry in the court’s roster of certified mediators in the State (PSMANL-01). Mr. Lobo has worked successfully in the mediation training field by participating in a large amount on training courses in universities, governmental institutes and other organizations.
