Review of Miss Yonca Yücel’s Mediation Skills
Her Feedback Digest is based on two feedbacks from one mediation, initially submitted in Nov. 2021.
Miss Yücel has consistently been rated at Performance Level 5 by parties for whom she has acted as a mediator in a highly complex finance dispute on a voluntary basis online. My client and other party would recommend Miss Yücel as a mediator, a fact borne out by parties willing to use her again and to provide a reference to parties considering the engagement of Miss Yücel as a mediator in the future. She charged according to the Mediator’s Fee Minimum Tariff in Turkey. The mediation cost was reasonable. In generally my client and other party’s satisfaction were very high level.
Considering her organizational skills in setting up, explaining, and preparing for the mediation was both decisive and instructive. Miss Yücel was perceived as having treated all sides fairly and impartially, was efficient and attended to organizational details promptly. My client commented that she patiently explained different aspects of the mediation when asked, and clearly negotiated and laid out the essential rules both before the mediation began and at the start of the mediation process.
Miss Yücel’s management skills in the mediation process were hailed as a key strength. She encouraged the parties to develop different choices for reaching an amicable solution. We settled an agreement at the end of the mediation process. For especially enlightening of both the online mediation process and other matters, Miss Yücel remained available to support parties as needed. She was especially congratulated for being a steadying influence when tensions among the parties increased and for keeping negotiators focused on key issues and future interests. She managed the other party’s forceful lawyer, and she rapidly developed highly trusting relationships between us by means of realizing required caucus meetings.
Her capability with online mediation tools was accurate. She was bold, to the point. She proposed new ways of dealing with the other party’s deal-breaker when he arose, was extremely experienced in banking and finance issues, quickly grasped the issues. She perfectly combined her expertise with her mediation skills and abilities.
