Today was the first of an IMI online webinar series on the Singapore Convention. IMI Board Co-Chair Deborah Masucci gave a presentation on how the Singapore Convention will change global mediation, followed by a Q&A discussion. Watch the video below:

  1. Thank you for this video. i would like to stress on the importance of cultural specificities. The way to expand mediation in each country will be easy if we remind the legal society (specially lawyers) of their own customs. Mediation is an important process that existed in every civilization. But the problem is the lack of legal culture and the use of specific language in international contracts. if we intend to expand mediation international organizations have to share their expertise and develop translation into many languages. thank you
