New IMI-recognised training program and Mediation Advocacy QAP: Mediator Academy

We are delighted to announce that Mediator Academy, based in Ireland and the UK, has had both its training program and mediation advocacy assessment approved by IMI.

IMI Mediation Advocacy Qualifying Assessment Programs certify mediation advocates against the international standards established by the International Mediation Institute, and are assessed against the rigorous criteria outlined here. Those who successfully complete a Mediation Advocacy QAP are eligible to become IMI Certified Mediation Advocates: the gold standard for mediation advocacy world-wide.

IMI Certified Mediator Training Programs, or CMTPs, meet international competency criteria for initial mediation training excellence. Individuals who complete CMTPs are able to become recognised as ‘IMI Qualified Mediators’. CMTPs can be searched here.
