Parties and counsel who have used Ralph Morris would overwhelmingly use his services again and would, without hesitation, recommend him to others. Typical of the comments reflecting Mr. Morris’ acceptability are: (i) Mr. Morris was very professional, well-versed in the subject matter, and fair in his dealings with the parties; and (ii) Ralph is very effective without being formulaic or high pressure. I recommended him to my opposing counsel, who reviewed his credentials and accepted him. Mr. Morris’ mediation skills and abilities are rated as highly effective. Typical of feedback received in this regard are: (i) Mr. Morris has the ability to be persuasive and help the parties see the weaknesses in their case; (ii) Mr. Morris has sound reasoning with application of the law to the facts presented and he is straight forward in presenting the risks for each side; and (iii) Ralph has an openness and objectivity that helps disarm strong emotions. He respects the parties and their counsel. He facilitates without being “pushy.” Ralph didn’t give up when one party wanted to continue and the other did not. He made it possible for the parties to consider alternatives. Costs were widely reported as reasonable in the context of the value of the disputes mediated by Mr. Morris, and in general a very high degree of satisfaction was reported. No reportable negative comments have been received since Mr. Morris’ designation as an IMI Certified Mediator.
