Recognized as one of Canada's foremost commercial mediators Rick Weiler brings 28 years of experience mediating well over 4,000 cases involving a wide range of subject matter.
Rick teaches Mediation at the University of Ottawa Law School where he also sponsors the Weiler ADR Prize for Mediation. He was the first Canadian mediator to be certified by the International Mediation Institute. He is the author of the Mediation Chapter in Canadian Legal Practice.
Rick is a past Chair of the National ADR Section of the Canadian Bar Association and was the recipient of the 2004 Award of Excellence in ADR from the Ontario Bar Association's ADR Section. He has been a regular contributor to the Kluwer Mediation Blog.
Rick has delivered Mediation and Conflict Resolution training to a wide variety of audiences both domestically and internationally.
