This Feedback Digest is based on 12 feedbacks in 12 mediations, submitted by disputants after mediations since January 2010. Trish has consistently been rated at the highest level by parties for whom she has acted as a mediator. She has regularly been given the highest rating for professionalism, experience, flexibility and overall satisfaction with the mediation. Respondents viewed Trish’s key skills as being: • Great organisational skills in setting up, explaining and preparing for the mediation; • Patience in explaining and agreeing on the ground rules of the mediation; • Ability to stimulate the participation of the parties; • Well prepared and familiar with the matters; • Treats and works with the parties fairly and impartially; • Excellent listener and communicator; • Relaxed, natural style and good sense of humour • Encourages the parties to develop a range of solutions; • Effectively keeps the attention of all parties concerned; • Influences the parties to focus on key issues and future interests; All of Trish’s respondents stated that they were very satisfied with the mediation process and would recommend her as a mediator to others. There were no negative comments from any of the parties for any of these mediations.
