IMI had a busy 2019 (highlights below), and we look forward to working with our supporters and stakeholders into 2020. We will shortly be announcing the appointment of four new IMI Board members, and of course, the first GPC North America report will be released this Friday! Thank you to all for your ongoing support, and happy 2020!
Recognition of quality training programs
IMI launched the possibility for organisations’ training programs to be recognised against IMI’s independent international standards, becoming Certified Mediator Training Programs (CMTPs). The ISC was reconstituted as a streamlined ‘Independent Advisory Committee’, and two new Qualifying Assessment Programs (QAPs) were announced, in Italy and Austria.
Two new CMTPs were approved, operating in Greece, Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania. The IMI Certified Mediator/Mediation Advocate search engine was upgraded, and IMI’s first diversity initiative launched.
